Veneer scrapers are designed specifically for the bonding of veneer to a substrate. They allow more pressure to be exerted than a standard "J" roller, ensuring a superior bond. The surface of the scraper is made of vulcanized fiber core, a strong material that does not mar the wood surface. The two-sided blade can be flipped for twice the uses. The wood handle is designed for ease of use.

To use this tool, start in the center of the veneer sheet and work out towards the edge of the sheet. Always work in the same direction as the grain of the veneer, paying special attention to the edges.
